Here's a nice blog post about current litigation trends concerning overdraft protection programs. (Bank Lawyer's Blog.) At least part of the plaintiff's claims center on the practice of clearing items from highest dollar amount to smallest. If you have an overdraft protection program, it is well worth a few minutes of your time to read.
