NAFCU's Compliance Blog has moved!
We still write about credit union compliance issues three days a week, but you can find the new blog location here.
- The blog is still public. If you've found the blog useful, consider sharing the blog with your friends and colleagues. It is free, and we make it available to everyone.
- You can still subscribe to the blog. Consider registering to have the blog emailed directly to you. Be sure to respond to the verification email. Once you’ve been verified, the compliance blog should hit your inbox starting with the next new post.
- Use the blog as a research tool. You can search the blog at its new location here. You can search past blogs on this website for the time being using the search function in the upper-left corner. NAFCU members can find additional info here on hot topics like HMDA, MLA, Mortgage Rules and more.
You'll find old blog posts below, but the content did migrate to our new website where you'll also find new posts to help you stay compliant!
Thank you for your daily blog. In these fast changing time for compliance, it is one of the first things I read each morning.

"Frequently, though, researchers will choose their own topics, data, and methodology themselves, draw their own conclusions, and publish in their own names."
I suppose CUs will be compelled to respond to any and all requests for information from these "researchers"?! Good. I've been sitting around twiddling the thumbs waiting for something to do. Oh...pick me, pick me!
