Compliance Monitor.  NAFCU Members:  The January 2013 Compliance Monitor is also available.  The first of this month’s articles provides an overview of the CFPB’s Supervisory Highlights Report.  This report provides useful insight on what the CFPB deems to be some of the most pressing compliance issues facing financial institutions.  The second article discusses the CFPB’s proposed rule on Regulation B appraisals, which would remove the credit union exemption from appraisal disclosure requirements.
